Ok so I did it and I am very pleased with the results. It came out exactly how I wanted it to so here are some pics.

Looks good, my only suggestion would be to mask off the white light and black trim, then paint the red part of the light as so that you dont have two different shades of red.
Keep the white part you have white but paint over all orang and red to match up the color better. You may have already done this and its flash glare deceiving me but your ambers/red out looks a bit darker.

It is a bit darker, I think I will do exactly that in the next few days.

Hey now! I really like the color of my car. I don't see too many e36's this color so yeah.. How much did you spend on that repaint? Cuz I was thinking of flat black, maybe..

Its not really fair to say how much my paint was. I will tell you we did a full color swap including engine bay, door jams, interior bits that are under carpet and pillars. In addition, my paint is a hand mix. There was no paint code for it until we created it. It took us three days of mixing and spraying panels, then sanding and respraying until the color was what I wanted.
It was roughly 4k total paint, time, and labor and I am part owner of the shop. Dont do flat black, Cashmere beige is fine, its just that I used to be that color so I have a little fun with people when I see it.

Too bad I am in CA and a working student or my bumpers would be painted already. Your car is looking great and I can't wait to see what else you have going in it. I am just going to go ahead and assume you know a thing or two about paint so.. What do you think of me painting my bumpers and skirts myself? Advisable or not?
It can be done, if you know what you are doing. It can be horrible if you dont. Metallics are difficult to blend and usually result in having to strip paint from a portion of the surrounding surfaces to get the paint to flow from the bumper into the body panels. You can probably get both bumpers prepped sprayed and installed for about $400 and if the shop knows what they are doing it will look wonderful. I quoted a front bumper out today at 190+parts. Total the guy spent 250 out the door and it shouldnt be too much on an OE bumper because its already installed and they would just have to mask, prep, and shoot. LOLz 60 bucks for an OE civic bumper.
Ask to see some of their work, make sure there painters are certified, do they warantee their work, ask them if they intend to blend your paint into the fenders since its a metallic and you want it to look right. Call your insurance company and ask who they would recommend for quality not cost. Basically any reputable shop should be answer what I have just told you.
If they are painting in a wood shed, they may do good work, but they are not likely to be reputable.
