Replacement Fog Lights

I am a newbie to this group and I am seeking information on how to replace the E36?

Please advice

Do you want change the bulbs or the whole assembly?

Changing only the bulb requires,usually, using to go under the front bumper and unscrewing the back or bottom of the assemly to get to the bulb. So basically its changed from behind.

i think its a similar procedure.

I believe if you can get to the back of assembly you should see a few mounting screws/bolts and go from there.

That is if you can get to it from behind.

what does the bumper look like?

i know n my e46 its a pain in the ass, but my 318's asembly is relativly easy to remove. i assume the same for the e36

you can either get it from the brake ducts(immediately next to the fog light) or you can get it from the hood, but there is a little curved plastic thing that you pull back, and its a clip so it will release the fog light, and when you put it back in you just push in and it snaps into place
