E39 no high beam - United Bimmer Community

Hi , I'm new to forum and in need of help. Just had the LCM repaired on my 1998 520 and everything works except the high beam.
Faulty repair or what?

maybe its a fuse

Not a fuse. Someone said the unit may need "flashing".

i dont believe your car has HIDs in the high beams, unless they are aftermarket? you know, habbie would probably be able to answer this question best

since its a 520 and its not a US model im guessing here.
i would check in order:
bulbs are in.
in working order.
wires/plugs are connected to the bulb.
if the answer is yes to all of the above and your highs worked prior to the lcm being "fixed" i would have to conclude that its a bad lcm or flash.
