Clear Corners For A Facelift Coupe?

I have searched everywhere and I cannot find just the clear corners for an E46 facelift coupe. I have a 2004 325Ci and want just the clear corners but the only places I've found them, you have to buy the entire headlight which is always 250+ per headlight. Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase JUST the clear corners for the 2004+ coupes? If so a link would be greatly appreciated. I fear there is no one that sells them but I figured I'd ask here while I save up to buy all new headlights :bluecry1

I actually e-mailed umnitza and, I hope this is ok to post, but they said they don't have just clear corners... HOWEVER, they plan to offer a full headlight replacement by the end of the year that will include ProLumen HIDs and Predator Chromiums. :yum

Let me ask you something. Is the headlight/corner light one assembly? Can you take apart the the headlight like you can on a 2001 e46? If it is one assembly and if you can take it apart, you might want to take it apart, put the lens in the baking oven for a few minutes and the orange reflector will come right off. How do I know this? Well, I have owned many Infiniti's all of which come with ugly orange corners so the only way of getting rid of them is to do the oven trick. It works, but you gotta be extra careful. Anyway, just a suggestion.

It is one assembly but you can take them apart by baking them open. Does the orange just melt off itself or do you heat it to a certain temp/time then scrape it off? That sounds tricky. I'd be afraid I'd leave it in too long and end up melting them or somehow damaging them so they don't fit/look proper anymore.

Thanks for the tip but I'm pretty sure those are just for the 4 door models. I have a coupe and if they're anything like the rest of the lights on the car, they're different. I'm just going to wait for Umnitza to release their package since it has everything I'd want in it anyway. More $$$ but I'd end up buying the Predators and the HIDs anyway.

nick_318is 07-16-2007 07:04 PM

Angel Eyes are overrated!

Good luck finding what your looking for should make the car look great.

celsdogg 07-16-2007 09:24 PM

^^^ i like angel eyes :dunno

nick_318is 07-16-2007 10:01 PM

Im from a simpler time i don't need no angel eyes, just 4 round eyes.

Kasei 07-16-2007 10:40 PM

I think angel eyes look good on E39s some E36s and a few others, but I hate them on E30s E34s or any other BMW with the traditional 4 head light grill.
