e36 corner guides broke off
while installing my e36 headlights the corner guides broke i realized the i did not install them properly and they were out of alignment and the guides snapped when i puushed the corners in and had to basically force them in, anyone has a fix?

i knew i had them in wrong.
i test fitted everything on the bench and it all worked then when i put them in the car they didnt so i forced them in and broke the guides.
maybe they broke because of the cold weather??

I dont get why people always break these? Obviously if you are applying enough force to them to break them then they obviously arent put in correctly. Why sit there and try to force something to the point that it breaks? Makes no sense at all. My depos looked better than oem and went in with ease.

Yep, because of the way the lights are set up, you have to pull the light housing out and crank a turn or two and then replace the housing and test them. It took me several times to adjust not only the height but the L / R angle but once you get it, they are the best looking lights around. I run my eyes only during all but the brightest of days. Your Z looks great!
