DIY: ** E36 STOCK headlight REMOVAL **
Open your hood and take a look.  Remove the six (6) screws from your hood cowl and also the tubing at the back and pull up and towards the rear of the engine.  This is what it should look like when you take it off.  Unhook your headlight bulbs.  Take out your turn signal.  Take your 8mm socket and a 19mm wrench and unscrew your headlamps. You will need the 19mm wrench to hold the back nut in place while your undo the bolts.  The first picture are of the screw under the turn signal, the other is closer to the radiator.    [/color][/b]

Any idea on how to remove the headlight from the frame? I got the light off the frame but there is a little rotating bracket on the frame it looks like its for adjustment. I cant get this off? Any ideas? |
