Voter registration down in SD, but independents up
The number of South Dakota registered voters is down, but independents have increased since 2008.The Rapid City Journal reports (http://bit.ly/NpzMQB) that independent voters are up 7.5 percent since the 2008 general election to 88,726.Overall, registered voters are down 3.2 percent, or 16,841 statewide, with drops coming for both Democrats and More... |
