Deadline to register for RI primary looms
Rhode Islanders must be registered to vote soon if they want to cast a ballot in the state's primary election.Voters have until Aug. 12 to be registered in time to vote in the Sep. 11 statewide primary.This is the first year in which voters will be asked to present identification at the polls.
