Hovde has spent $4 million on campaign so far
Republican Eric Hovde has spent $4 million of his own money in the U.S. Senate race so far.Filings with the Federal Election Commission released Tuesday show Hovde has contributed $3.75 million to his campaign and loaned it another $250,000.
