7.3M Illinoisans registered to vote before primary
Nearly 7.3 million people are registered to vote in Illinois going into the state's primary election later this month, which is about even with the number registered before the 2008 presidential primary, the State Board of Elections said Thursday.Turnout for the 2008 primary was about 41 percent, the state's voter database shows.
