Board clears Valdosta mayor of ethics charges
A review board has cleared Valdosta Mayor John Fretti of any unethical behavior in double-filing travel expenses.The citizens ethics review board unanimously agreed Monday night that Fretti did not knowingly violate any city ordinances.The case is still scheduled to go before a Lowndes County Grand Jury on Aug. 24.
