Many races uncontested in Chicago suburbs
Voters on April 5 will choose mayors in a number of Chicago suburbs, including Elgin, Schaumburg and Chicago Heights.But some races in suburban Cook County aren't races at all.Cook County Clerk David Orr says nearly 60 percent of the races in suburban Cook County are uncontested.Only 287 out of 716 contests have more candidates than openings.
