Accused Romanian lawmaker resigns from his party
A Romanian European Parliament lawmaker accused of bribery has resigned from his party.Adrian Severin quit the Social Democratic Party on Monday, saying he did not want to involve it in "futile disputes" over bribery allegations against him.
