my 535 vs. skyline

Friday on my cities newly opened freeway, me and a buddy were headed to my place. He has an 01 grand prix GTP. We were cruisin at around 150kmh. and this right drive skyline came flyin up to us, as soon as he reached us he slowed to our speed for a couple seconds, then took off. I caught him at about 190kmh. Then he just tore me apart. I droppedit to 4th and hit it, I reached 220, but there was no way I was catching him. I backed off, my buddy caught up and we headed to my place at a normal speed. A few cliks down the new road, the guy in the little ricer was on the shoulder with his hood up?????? I would have stopped, but thats what happens when your car has no staying power I guess. That car was pretty fast, but obviously a piece of crap.

hahaha, my friend saw this ricer go buy his house one time and hit a bump and a hose fell out of it. The guy got out threw it in the back seat and kept driving

lol. Skylines are fast but I don't know anything about there reliability...Don't they go for like 60-90K here? for the fast ones..I guess he should have baught an m3 and some performance parts instead..

If you're insulting me... I dont know why.

OH!!! I just checked the slang dictionary.

??????????????

maybe it does pwn my face. But his car is fucked, mine is tucked away nicely in my garage. And I could go out rite now get it up to 220kmh again, and still make it home. His car is either sitting there, or at a shop rite now pwning a parking lot.

again, skyline is dead. 535 is alive.

Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. "Patton" not sure if the real Patton said it too.

Spieluhr 10-15-2006 10:29 PM

even if it died, i'd take the skyline over a 535. no questions asked.

No brainer. :rolleyes

I don't like the term 'ricer.' The whole idea of the label is to insult a certain automotive manufacturing power, and a driving enthusiast culture.

If I were to choose between a car that runs and one that does not, I would go with the one that runs. However, head to head, both in running condition, a Skyline is a superior vehicle over a 535. That should be okay with everyone, since the 535 was not built to be a sports car.

thats the problem with it, it has turned into a label of all cars coming from that area.

my wifes completly stock subaru legacy? some call it a ricer. buts its quieter than my car, and not quite as quick.

ricer, i think not.

japanese cars are fine by me. to me, ricer means all show, no go. loud exhaust, huge, useless spoiler, and owners performing mods they have no idea what they do, or how to do them.

stock japanese cars tho, they are just like any other car out there.
