your e46 323i automatic is a slow car. it weighs more than my car, it has an automatic, and it's a 323. my 325 and decent shifting would destroy your car. your car is about the worst bmw you can buy, short of a 318ti automatic. hell, an e30 318 manual would kill your car.
my engine is stock. pure power is the least important thing to me. brakes and suspension i have upgraded but those won't play any role in a race.

Calm down people. Let me remind you this is THE INTERNET, not real life. Don't take things personally, and don't start e-fights- they accomplish nothing. My bad Stormin, I'm just attached to my car and got defensive, Ironically I'm having my trans. switched out anyway I've already got a deal on a 5-Speed transmission. (I know it would be easier to trade it in, but I have reasons not to).

It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! it's understandable you're attached to your car. just have to realize it's an automatic and that it doesn't hold a candle to a manual car. only real enthusiasts have manuals on their cars. you take that automatic to the track and i'll get a kick out of it. you're right, i have no respect for automatics. having an automatic puts you one step closer to somebody who bought the bmw not because of the drive, but because of the status symbol. somebody call the whaambulance about it.
