What pisses me off is that I didn't want to stop because it was that same day my water pump was going bad on me and I was on my way to my dad's to change it. Didn't feel like slowing down at the orange just to let my car overheat... :lol

You know that chick in that vid is so BUSTED! haha. "Yea, I'll use it...not to run lights with it though"... yea right...They now know your name, how you look and what car your driving...

Here, in NJ, its illegal to have anything on the plates, including frames. Though the cops won't pull you over for it, its a possibility. Much like having one (out of two) license plate bulb out is a fine (mom got that once $45 fine for one $0.50 bulb).

Dough

Lmao... I'd be so busted in NJ... I humm... did a mod I like to call the "license plate bulb removal" I wired my license plate bulb into my rear parking lights so that the license plate bulbs never turn on and I don't see the code on the OBC. So, at night you can't see my license plate at all to the naked eye specially with the tinted shield I have on top of it :rock

Buy the clear cover from BavAuto. Just looking at it, it's clear and almost invisible. When you try to take a photo, it blurs out. Cheaper than the spray too. And would you really trust something that looks like non-stick cooking spray?'

edit: watched the vid. ok, seems good.

That clear cover is so easy to see, I had it and got pulled over for it ;)

that spray does work, but, all the enforcers have to do is over expose the photo, and your plate will show up. just dont run red lights if you dont want a ticket, or at least know where the cameras are.

mullethunter3 03-08-2006 01:19 PM

actually, most of the cameras set up now are just in case the law actually gets passed so that they can send out tickets via mail. here is missouri, they just passed the law about a month ago. check your states laws. they might be up their for no reason.

Rooz 03-13-2006 10:04 PM

So far so Good, no letter in the mail :)

I think my customely tinted license plate frame might have been all the protection I needed :D

My rear license plate cover, on the insde thre is one thin layer of spray tint and one layer of glossy clear coat ;)
