Rooz, I did read the whole thread, and I still say you shouldn't run red lights. You can turn your car off at the red light.

Rooz, Most of the "red light" cameras take the pic from the front not the rear- taking a 3 pic set. They also use a high speed flash to get the plates reflectivity (some states plates have small circular logos imprinted just for the cameras).
Also that spray you're investing into if it's the good stuff, it's the same clear enamel paint that cops/hwy patrol uses on their door emblems & markers that blocks the reflectivity so when they're sitting in center medians your lights don't reflect their positions while running radar.
Best advice is not to challenge your luck through lights, it's not worth the risk or hassle (the fines for camera assisted tickets are usually 20 to 30% more $$$ than having a "negotiation" with a human w/a badge. The human has the decision of lowering the offense)
