Killed me a magnum!
Today I was on my way to my chiropractor from school and the fastest, I was driving down this neighborhood since it's the shortest way to get to my doc's office. So, the speed limit is 25mph, and since everyone knows their tneds to be cops on that street on a regular basis, peops respect that. So, I was cruzing down that street, going speed limit, maybe 1-5 over, and this magnum turns behind me, the guy starts to be an ass and zigzaging behind me, I get closer to the left side of the street so he can see that their are cars in front of me, he doesn't stop. We get to the light, I had to turn right, I turn right on carmel road and hit the gas a bit hard, get to 45 (on 35 mph street) and don't see the guy anymore, I figured he was just all talk no show. I am driving down carmel rd, and with my luck their is a school bus on the other end and it flashes red, so I have to stop, then I get to the red light and it's one of those long lights. Next thing I know, the ass with his magnum pulls next to me, I am pretty sure it was a Magnum SXT since it had a gray grill. he starts revving his engine his engine ( and in my head am like hell yeah bcs I know that street quite well) the red light is great for launching bcs the street on the right merges in so u can sort of se when their light turn orange and red, then yours turns green. So am their waiting for that light to turn orange, and it does, so I get rdy to launch my car, our light turns green I launched my car rather well, but the guy with the magnum had a bad launch, I get up to 85-90 (on a 45mph street) and I lost that guy easily, He was like a car's length up until I got to 45ish but then lost him easily, he either backed out or was just a bad driver.

The SXTs have a 3.5L six with 250/250 and weigh over 3800 pounds.
You've done mankind a service by discouraging an owner of one of those knockoff Batmobiles.

nice....
I "raced" a magnum from a 15 mph roll. I didn't downshift, and didn't go until I heard his engine. We accelerated untill around 55. He didn't gain any on me after I started giving it. I think I'd beat him good if it was from a stop and I was trying. Good kill anyways! Take er ez there!

magnums are not that fast. They run 6.1 to 60 at the best and mid 14 quarters. SXT's are slooooww. I think something around 7.8-8.4. The limited 300c 250/250 is around 8 flat and high high 15's. Nice kill though

The 300c is actually the one with the hemi, its got 340hp and 390 torque. It runs 0-60 in 5.6 and 1/4 mile in just over 14 seconds.
