saabs really are piles
so the other night i come up to a light and a saab pulles up next to me and starts to rev its engine. mind you i drive an 88 toyota pick up with a 3liter motor. and im like whatever im bored why not? so the light turns green and i floor it and in my truck sitting on 31 in tires beat this what i think to be a saab 9.3 ha what a pile

Those 9-3's are ~3200 lbs., E36 weigh what 3000-3100 ?

I'm personally not a big fan of FWD cars. RWD seems to get much better response and tightens down to the road on corners. I'll drive my brothers GTI every once in a while, and sure, it corners alright, but it's just not like my BMW--or any other RWD car I've driven for that matter.

I have trouble handling well in FWD too, but I have seen people learn how to use the FWD to an advantage, especially in tight corners.
