Practiced both FWD and RWD........RWD gets you out mistakes better, much better handling

rear wheel is easier to recover from a mistake, but its a lot harder to make that same mistake in a front drive.
they both have there advantages.

Yes cse is the turbo for the 9000's, The 540i is an auto/ the Saab is a 5-speed, which probably was the reason it was hard to gain CL on him - regardless the 540 slowly walked it, but the saab hung in there.

This story of yours is the ultimate cliche.
You're at a light next to some asshole in a car, he's reving his engine, thus he must want to race. Despite giving any other details: date, time, weather, and or traffic conditions, you continue with the altogether too familiar story. What happends next? Another blank spot, where crucial details should be and then a leap to the finish: You winning, even though you think you should have lost because it was a saab (you heard they were sports cars...from who?) and you're in a truck with 31's.
If your swiss cheese story wasn't enough, it doesn't even sound like you know for sure it was a Saab. But hell, let's just assume it was a saab '9.3' (nine point three? I don't know that one) that you beat. Here's your brilliant conclusion: all saabs must suck cause i think i might have raced one and i'm pretty sure i beat it even though i'm in a truck, it's so old and it's on 31 tires lmao!1 sabb = pile!

The most plausible explanation I can think of, is that the driver in the Saab wasn't really racing. That's usually the case with these well told stories.

1.Most cars on the road these days are heavier, BMWs for example. Let's see if you can figure out why.
2.It's often a good thing to think before posting.

just because i didnt capitalize it and i didnt put a period at the end of the sentence, it doesnt mean it isnt a complete thought.

because, in my family, we have, unfortunetely expierienced two saabs, and they boths sucked, adn the one we have currently still does

knowing that they have horrible power to weight ratios can be considered studying them, but i am not a saab enthusiast, thats why i dont know what a viggen is

first of all, this thread isnt really about BMW's, but i will answer your question anyway, yea, your car is slow,and i dont really care for 318s that much, but your car is slow, in a straight line, as almost all BMW owners say. im 100% posative that you can corner faster than a ton of saabs out there, and you can do a lotta other cool things, like for instance your car doesnt look ugly, and in my opinion saabs do
