So because of this whole sacramento crack down on street racing thing a cop pulled me over cause i had "Excessive performance stickers" which aparently under the new laws is reasonable suspicion...

Anyway,i get pulled over and he asks what kind of car it is and if i had any illegal parts, i said "Nope not to my knowledge i have all the CARB exemption placards(California Air Resource Board)" we exchange a few cheer full BS convo jokes and talking about the crackdown and he then had me pop my hood and immediately he says "Wow! That is one CLEAN 80's car engine!!!! I cant even tell whats illegal or not!, its just so CLEAN, i'm just going to have you run down to the referee when you get a chance just to be sure" i said no problem and he then had me rev my engine a couple times to hear the exhaust and i was ever so gentle not to go WOT due to my moded air box and larger throttle body and he wrote me a fix it and then we continued to talk for about 45 mins, turns out he knows my brother and has a son in my brothers class, he also is a E30 bmw owner as a project car. We exchange phone numbers and go our seperate ways.

i go to the referee and they say they dont have any information on the fix it ticket and the cop must not have filed it. I tell them i would like the inspection anyway just so i know for future reference. I Pass with flying colors except my car was missing a hose clamp on the EGR system (a hose that runs from the valve cover to the air box LOL!)

a few days go by and my phone rings and its the cop. We shoot the shit and i end up going over to his house and helping him with the build up of his motor, 4 hours later i realize its like 1 am and i should be heading home, and i do...

1 mile later i have 2 cop cars chasing me down and i get pulled over, they pull their weapons and instruct me to get out of the car with my hands where they can see them, they have the spot lights on me so i cant see squat...they start patting me down and i say to the officers "umm what did i do?" and they start yelling at me and grilling me, then they start cracking up and turn me around and its my brother(who is on a ride along) and his cop friend who is best friends with the oooooooother cop!

aparently after i got pulled over the first time they all somehow put it all together that they all knew eachother and planned this out...

ya we all went out for drinks a few hours later when they were off work...we went to a local cop hang out bar...i met soo many damn cool ass cops, i guess we forget they are people too, and they are just doing their job...cant blame em for that!

i can get any fix it signed off now, cause i know so many cops haha WOOT!

i love canada too man...i spent a month living like a king in a Banff and never wanted to leave

the golf course there is friggen awesome..i had moving hazzards...ELK!!! EVERYWHERE!!!!

no idea but im planning of visiting again soon, i need a vacation and its a wicked boring yet relaxing drive from sacramento to Banff...wicked mileage haha if i had 2 weeks off again i would do it...

Banff rules man. I love the Banff Springs Hotel, i wanna get a job there as a valet next summer. And your right about the golf course, just an awesome course, a little expensive to play but its worth it.Next time u come to banff lemme know and well hang out. Im trying to get one of my buddies to convince his grandma to buy the Banff Springs Hotel (its worth like $500 million), even though his grandma is rich shes probably not rich enough to buy it, but we still wanna try....lol

Not really, nothing like in california or anything. Like 80% of the time it'll be up to the cops descretion wether or not something is illegal. I know and seen alot of people driving around with neons on, blue turn signals (supposed to be amber), the ricest exhausts on the planet, but as long as the cops nice hes not gonna care. Usually they will be nice and just give a warning or something
