yeah... i agree about the new 3s and 5s... they do look a lot alike. but i guess theyre just keeping a consistent style throughout the bmw line. they might not look the greatest but next to an audi??? definatly better... i think so

well well well, loosen the pants now. S4's definitly have V8's, but this generation he's talking about(B5) does not.

You forgot a 1. They have 11 more hp. 344. Had to correct you because we have one in the family, that I drive quite frequently. Wicked machine, can beat a perfectly driven E46 M3 all the way though 3rd if you can launch right. Audi's are nice and they handle well, but take an M3 and S4 to all weekend AutoX/drifting/boxing event which I have done several time's and you will have half as much fun or less in the S4

Dude, you know way too much shit about cars.

I raced my friends s4 (dad's car) right after I got my bimmer. My car pissed her pants right before the launch.

Thats not true. Some people just might not know audi's.

For example, I know almost nothing about Subaru's, which is one reason I'm excited about this new community... so I can learn about them also. Just because someone doesn't know the body style codes of audi, doesn't mean they don't know about cars in general. Hell, have you even seen how many merc body style codes there are? haha

Ummm, a mid '90s S4 would be a C4, not B5. As would a 1995 S6.

no, no, no.

In the US:

1992-1994 S4 2.2 turbo (C4 chassis = based on 100)
1995 & 1995.5 S6 2.2 turbo (C4 chassis = based on A6)
2000-2002 S4 2.7 biturbo (B5 chassis = based on A4)
2004-2005 S4 4.2 V8 (B6 chassis = based on A4)

lol, you Audi guys and the designation#s, you sound like you're calling a bingo game. It's nice to know folks other than bimmer people have debates over M's, ISs, Xs & Es. If we keep this up hyrogliphics will be back in style.

Audi S4

Hello, just thought i would come on hear and give my opinion from an audi drivers point of view. I drive an Audi S4 1999

I Have Raced a few BMW M3's And i must say that i leave them standing. The Pace of and Audi S4 of the mark is un Beliveable. What sort of bhp do the M3's Run. My S4 Is pushing out 490 BHP, Due to upgraded Turbos of a RS4 and Revo Chipped.
I do like BMW's and would love to have one especially the new 6 Serise thats a serious Car. Thanks Dom
