ok, so you got the 318 badge in the rear but have the ///M grill badge, that's understandable, kinda like some peops carry the AC grill badge but don't have any AC parts...

what about m-technic cars? my buddy has an e36 318is that came from the factory with all M exterior parts. he still has the 318 badge but on the other side of the lid it has an M. I don't see any problem with that.

BMW should sell M badges directly (and for cheap) only to M car owners or people who have modified their bimmer enough to deserve the badge. Sorta like how Checker/Shucks/Kragen shouldn't sell GT-R badges to Mustang drivers. I've seen 3!
