Your Ride: 1997 Camry CE
On the way to Kansas City....it was interesting.
I got on the Turnpike...and followed a Hundai Sonata (sp?) He had a radar detector on too...but I passed him and he followed me. We were going...oh 85-90....when my radar detector goes off and then goes back to Highway mode. I slow down and sure enough...2-3 miles ahead...a State Trooper. So I set the cruise at 70 (the speed limit) and pass him. As soon as I thought it was safe...I sped back up and passed everybody.
Of course the Hundai followed me. THEN! This old nasty white Toyota Corola (1987).....hehehe with 2 old women are tailing the Hundai. I saw it in my rear view. I slowed way down and thought it was a cop. So I looked at them and then zoomed off. They followed me...for a couple miles...and then the Hundai passed the white Corola and then we continued on. Until....I was JUST about 20 miles from the Turnpike exit....when I looked ahead and saw the red explorer slam on her breaks. I looked to the left...there was a semi blocking the right hand side. I looked over and there was a State Trooper that popped out the end as we passed (the Trooper) with his radar gun pointed south. As I was parallel with him (the Trooper) when he had his radar gun pointed south.
I quickly got in front of the semi-truck and slowed wayyyy down. A different car got behind me. All of a sudden... in my rear-view mirror I saw the Trooper was speeding up to pull somebody over. I knew it was going to be one of us. I was super afraid it was going to be me. I pulled my radar detector off and put it away. I watched my rear-view mirror the whole time. Then off to the right behind the semi...pulling into the median was the OLD nasty crappy white Corola with the 2 old ladies....well they were in their late 40s...LOL. I was clapping and laughing. I waved to the semi-truck and thanked him for blocking the Trooper from getting me. I was sooo scared and relieved that it wasn't me...I was going 5-10mph UNDER the speed limit to cool off. Until the Hundai pulled next to me...and we exchanged gestures as well as some laughter expressions. It was hilarous. I mentioned to him...."1 more time". And I re-put my radar stuff back up....and hit the gas.
We hit the toll booth of the Turnpike...and he was behind me. I asked the pay lady for me to pay for the car behind me. I told her to pass on a message from me to him. She said, "yes". I said. "tell the guy behind me.....That I didn't like her anyway". LOL. She said ok. I paid and left. I never saw him again. I wonder what he was thinking or response was. I bet it was great!
lol reminds me of funny story, last week i was riding w/my bro in his audi, and we are almost home but this guy turns from a side street infront of us(didnt exactly cut us offf) but his back tail lights were burnt, and he starts goin slow anyway, so my bro comes up close, and he brake-checks us, so we say whatever, my bro flashes his highbeams and we turn off into our road, and half way down, somehow he is behind us, i guess he turned around, but anyway, he follows us, so we obviously dont stop at our house, we go around the block once, get back on the main road, turn around, get into our block again, and he is still following us: heres the good part
my other bro(3 ppl in the car) says, im tired of this crap, stop the car right now, so we stop, and all of us get out of the car, and the little chicken puts his car into reverse and floors it all the way down the street, by the time i got out of the car, he was like 20 feet away, i burst out lauphing
