OK, a few friends and me where talking while waiting outside of the colliseum for our graduation practice, one of ym very good friends recently god a new Lincoln LS v8. He's been talking about racing me and we are all actually not sure who would win. Of course his car has a bigger engine but I have far mroe "fast driving" experience than he does, not saying he's a bad driver, it's just he said it himself, I know how to drive fast cars better than he does.
so, taking bets, My car or his?
His car is stock, mine performance wise: CosmosRacing CAI, UUC Underdrive pulleys, and I will have my M3 exhaust before this...
05 Lincoln LS:

96 328is:
2.8-liter DOHC 24-valve inine 6-cylinder with 190hp @ 5,300 rpm and 207 lb-ft of torque @ 3,950 rpm.

No offense, but that car has almost 100hp more than you. The difference in weight is going to make a pretty big difference, true, but I don't know if that's enough.
It's probably going to be pretty close, but I honestly think you're a bit underpowered.
yeah, this is the second time I have been challenged by a V8, first time was my friend's camero Z28, I won but that was bcs his chip wasn't working right.... we didn't even really race his car was very sluggish that day, and since then his rear end broke so we haven't ahd the chance to try it again

lincoln is gonna take you bro. sorry to say. i have a 94 cadillac deville with the 300hp northstar and that thing friggin moves and its damn near 5k lbs. but prove me wrong... is his auto too so all you have to do is stomp on the pedal???
i don't see how experience factors in here btw because anyone can slam a pedal to the floor and steer straight... even if you've done it more i don't see how it will give you an advantage lol

Hes most likely going to smoke you beyond belief. Those lincons do about 5-7 sec 0-60's and I forget what your model is but Im gona say soemthing around 7-9. In the long run he'll defentaly get you even if you get him off the line. And even with him having an auto and you having a stick its not gona make one difference. Its all whom ever gets off the line first and has the hp or balls to keep the pedal to the floor. My dads lincon mark 8 has the same engine, and I havent found many cars that can take that thing down, and the mark 8's tippin the scale at around 4500 lbs.
