Drove a 740i
so my friend let me drive his 740 on a short section of highway 1.
i see him drifting that thing all the time. never understood how..cause it takes alot of effort in both of my 3's. holy shit. basically its plug and play in a sence. you just tkae a turn, second gear and gas. car is sideways. let it go through the turn and let the wheel go. your good. that car has enough torque to take me to the moon. So..basically that car is the easiest thing to drift ever. and if you dont want it sideways just dont use gas in a turn..lol. man...i know why he likes the car so much now. thought i would share. of course this was done safely only drifting in corners where you could see around the turn, to make sure no cars were coming. :tup |
Wow sounds like some fun
|
bald tires, tc off or on?
|
DSC off, otherwise the cars a cadilla and wont budge.
tires are half thread, I think they are michelins or something of that nature. |
What year 740i? Is it a sport with a lsd?
|
yea didnt specify that. Its a 2001 with sports package. No lsd but the power holds it out sodeways. One wheely peelies
But it still leaves two tire marks |
sweet.
wouldnt it only leave one tire mark if it was an open diff? |
not if its going sideways through a turn.
were gonna go out to a spot and get some stuff on video here pretty soon. Maybe next week. so you guys can see. |
^^^ ah tru. :doh
