just a few minutes ago i was coming home from school. i was on a 2 lane road turning onto a quiet 4 lane road with a black focus behind me. i turned and got into the left lane of the quiet road, and as usual was going to change lanes into the right because my apt complex is on the right.
well homeboy in the black focus decides he wants to race me and blocks me from the right lane. i was still in second so i redlined it, then shifted to third (which i call the party gear) and kept it there. i easily got some space ahead of him and switched into the right lane. of course, he switched to the left. i played with him a little bit going on and off the throttle to let him catch up and then i would pull away quickly. because he wanted to play, i skipped the entrance i normally take to the apt.
as we crested a hill a cop came from the other side. i hit the brakes and the focus did to. luckily, a second turn for my complex was coming up, and i decided it was about time to exit this "race". at the same time, i saw the cop swerving to his right to make a U turn in the middle of the road. the focus kept going and in my rearview i can see the cop flying past the apt complex, going after the focus. he had it floored coz i could hear his V8 chruning hard.
as someone at a meet i went to once said "that guy better focus on getting a new car."

Stories like this make one believe there is justice in the world, but really, encounters like that can mean BIG trouble, and not just if the blue lights were flashing behind you with a court appearance looming. I know what you mean, the visceral reaction is to put the dork in his place, but the mere fact that a dork is trying to make a point (albeit a juvenile one) means that his judgment is zero and the situation can rapidly and easily escalate to one that is out of control and the result is... well, you get the pic. Yeah, it takes putting up with some crap, and some self-control to resist, but it's better to have a lot of distance between yourself and a clown like that, even if it means he's the one that's accelerating away. Besides, if you have a way of noting and tracing down his license number...

thats nothing.
i was headed back from lincoln (nebraska) going down the interstate at about 85. im just sticking with traffic and all of a sudden this white chevy pickup came FLYING by me. i swear he had to be going atleast 100-110. i call him a jackass and keep going. about two miles later i see cop lights up ahead, i look over and guess whose on the side of the road? the white chevy. im just laughing my ass off and about a mile later he comes flying past me AGAIN.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

the focusing jokes dont get old!
im not sure what happened with the focus. as i didnt want to go peeking and potentially get nabbed myself. but i can only assume the police officer caught up with him because the road was clear, with not many places to hide.
