If you can't beat 'em, confuse 'em!
 

I was in the right lane at a stop light when a Lancer Evo pulled up to my left. It was sweet lookin' yellow, and the revs sounded pretty mean. Now I know damn well I'm not gonna beat this guy, and I don't even try- I'm not into racing anyway. But he toys around with me, passes me up and jumps in my lane in front of me some distance ahead. He's slowing down to wait for me, and I'm getting up in the gears, 4th gear by the time I get near. So I switch to the left lane to 'pass' him, but I know exactly what he's up to . . so I quickly change back and get right behind him just before he breaks left to cut me off and speed up :evil

He takes the bait and for a brief second, he lets off the throttle because he has no idea where I went. By now I'm in the blind spot on his right, already dropped into 3rd and going hard on the accelerator, and then I hear it- his blow off valve opened up when he let off the gas, and I blast right past him . . . by then it's too late and there's no room the catch up before the next traffic light- I beat the yellow and he got stuck at the red :woot

omigod, thats the best kill story i have heard in awhile. thats some kick ass driving.

just goes to show that power isnt the only thing that wins races.

Out driving someone doesnt always mean straight away speed.

Little punkass in a killer machine got schooled by an old timer in a 15yr old hunk-a-junk . . you can always tell the guys that don't know shit- they're always too cocky. A classic textbook maneuver, and he fell for it because he was too busy being a hot dog. But hey- that's how you learn, and I'll be the 1st to admit I've been taught similar lessons back in the day.

I wish we had racers or at least ricers willing to race over here
the only one who's up for a race is a guy in the grade above me with his butt fugly 1.6 Civic...
he gets his ass beaten everytime and then he's mad at me for about half a week
guess he should spend his money on performance mods instead of extremely ugly body parts which only make it worse...
