i have a 3 series bmw and that why im a part of this forum. i have a honda s2000 too though which is the love of my life. anyways the other night i was at a stop light and next to a 5 series. i didnt think anything of it since its a sedan and my mom has a 530 as her backup car and it is slow. anyways this guy takes off and so i did and i passed him and had a couple car lengths on him. once i hit about 100 i slowed down and let him pass me because im 17 years old and i dont need a ticket, and i dont wana lose my license. i see dinan 5 on the back and im like what in the hell? i thought they were supposed to be quick. it might if been a 540 with the badge but im not sure...it was def a v8 and sounded like pure sex.

yea you cant be sure it was a 540, it could have been a 530 or 528

seriously i dont think u could beat a 540 with an s2000 he just wasnt racing a 4cyl especially the lag of vtech could never beat a v8

Just because it says Dinan 5, doesn't mean anything. It's what's under the hood that matters. It pisses me off every time a Dinan 5 comes in and all the customer did was put the badging on there.

I can't stand S2000s, the push button start, where you have to insert the key and turn it like you are going to start it.....and THEN you push the start button on the OPPOSITE side. No thank you.

Another thing about S2000s that I don't like is the radio option...on the left and then down near the shifter in the middle. Ugh.

easy guys, the s2000 is a neat little car (even if it doesnt compare to BMWs). the "dinan" 5 could have not really been a dinan, could have not been trying to race, could have been driven by a bad driver, or could have heard their radar detector go off

They are fast. He just didn't care to waste his time on menial things in life like racing in the streets.

why the hell was he doing like 110 then. im thinking it was a 540...def a v8..my mom has a 530 and it doesnt sound like that....and you guys are forgetting that I HAVE a BMW so im not trying to bag on them. my mom has a mercedes clk430 convertible and thats the biggest piece of shit in the world, so im tryin to talk her into getting the new 335 hardtop convertible with the twin turbo. i hate mercedes...not bmw, i support bmw. i dont know why your calling my car a ricer and shit....one of my dads cars in a cooper s and thats a 4 banger, and also front wheel drive, so would you consider that a ricer? atleast the s2k is rwd instead of any other honda piece of shit.

haha it was some old guy...and he took off first. once i saw him burn out and take off i went after him. im only 17 so all of these old assholes try to pick on me.

be cool dude, the speeds you are referring to, is that in kph or mph?
