Post Happy NY; I'm glad to be here!

Hi Group. I found you from a link of another forum group.

I have to admit that I used to avoid BMW because of the pretentious reputation and yuppie image that many people equate it with. Then I drove one and immediately recognized what sets it apart and earns it "Ultimate Driving Machine" status. These cars are awesome!

I just acquired a '94 325is from a friend who lost interest in it and hid it in his garage, abandoned, neglected and, literally, used as a storage shelf for boxes, bags, etc. He kept telling me there was a Bimmer in his garage that he could no longer afford to upkeep that hasn't been driven in over 2 years and I didn't believe him. One day I made him open the garage door and there it was; a beautiful black coupe waiting to be loved.

I told him, "give me this car" and after he agreed I replied "no take-backs". This car has 81K miles and was only driven/owned by him!

Hey Guys. Nick, I've had it for two weeks now. I had to renew the registration from August 2004. I've got to take better pics but here are a couple for now. Obviously I'll have to make cosmetic improvements and I welcome your ideas but what's going on under the hood is priority for me now.

Dinan, that's an awesome 540!

Oh, excuse my ignorance, but what's the best way to attach pics to share with you?
