I found this site a while back via a link to the knowledge base.
I stepped up from VWs a few years ago. I loved the 80s and early 90s VWs but they were getting to be a pain to find parts. My father sold me his old '84 318i and I found it is cheaper to maintain than the '87 Golf. So I sold the Golf with 350k miles and I hope to get that out of the little M10.
Then I found a smokin deal on a high mileage e36 that needed some work. I chipped it and did the RTAB with the help of this website.
I owned an e28 for a year, it seems to get passed around the family.
Now my father dumped his e34 touring on me to purchase a beautiful e39 wagon. My parents own 2 e39 wagons and a mint '88 535i that I can't wait to get my hands on.
Anyway, I lurk alot and add if I think I can help. Needless to say owning 3 older BMWs keeps me busy. There is always something that can be done. My wife and daughter love driving them, especially the e36.
And I love the smiley selection.

Ah, VTEC. All of the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex
