Got laid off today...

The worst thing that could happen just happened when i returned back to my office this afternoon. I was laid off...Apparently the company i work for was downsizing its staff and i was 'chosen' to go. Wat's dis got to do with my beemer?

It takes cash to maintain her right? Oh well, this was just a setback to my plans off getting more plans to get creative with my own beemer. I will be back and this time park my (by then) M3 in the company's parking lot in the bosses space. I was the first employee to own his first bmw while everyone else was driving smoke belching cars. Maybe the image i was projecting looked like i belonged in southern california and that i could afford to lose this job.

the morale of the story... use your car as an inspiration to get back into employment since you know she deserves it. (oh yeah, don't forget the wife kids and the house cat too...)

I'll be back guys...

The best thing is that the car's been really good, just letting the screams out by listening to linkin park on CD.

Thanks guys and gals...

I'll let you all know things work out for me. At least there's more time for me to get those pics done on my car. Be posting them soon

Death 2000,

Yeah!!! 18 - 23 was the wildest time of my life. I've been in various fields of work like retail, manufacturing, import export, telecommunications, hotels, charity work and spent half my entire life in the 'corporate' life. Expand your horizons and meet a lot of people because who knows who you may meet and what they might become.

Akin, sorry to hear that you were laid off, the good news is it sounds like you have a plan and hopefully your back in a job before long. Good luck with the job hunt.

Sell stuff to make money. I coudln't find a job this summer, and sold a few cars, and such to pay for the bimmer.

It does suck you got laid off, but you'll find another job. Untill then, enjoy it
