Just picked up a Tii today!
What's up , everyone! I'm the proud owner of 1973 2002 Tii. I haven't seen it yet my brother picked it up for me and is brining it to me tomorrow. He said it a nice but I'll make it even better in time! Hope to be out and about soon to get to some meet and greets. Will post pics tomorrow!
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
sweet. if i had the oppurtunity i would jump on it.
congrats and welcome.

I don't think it's restored but it runs and drives. He told me that the body was in good shape as far as he could see. Here's the story: We have a weekly auction that we go to just to see if what might show up there. Normally it's held on Tues. and Sat., but because of the holiday they had one today. My original intent was to pick up a 2 seater Jag I saw earlier in the week. Well, work reared it's ugly head and I couldn.t make it. My brother went anyway. He calls me on the phone to say very little people showed up and cars were going cheap.
Just as he says that he tells me there's a 2002 there. But then he says " What's a Tii?" As he is talking to me they are passing the car as a no bid. I tell him get the ---- off the phone and buy the car! I got it for 200.00 plus 80.00 buyer's fee!

Yeah, I got real lucky with this one. I've seen about five or six 2002's over there, all rusted out and not running go for 1100-1200 bux when the crowd was there. I guess everybody was still sleep from partying and forgot it was today! But I'm not mad at all!

Well guys I got the car home today and all I have to say is....my brother is CRAZY! It was nothing like I expected, Lots of surface rust, door panels missing, just not the way he described it to me. But on a good note, the motor fires right up and runs good, tranny shifts good, but I believe the front calipers are sticking. Now he has the time to put into a project like that, I don't. So all in all, not a keeper for me. Going to the Classified Section with pics for just what I paid for it! MD guys pm me, it's gotta go!
