1993 BMW 318iS Owner
Yet, another new owner of a BMW 318iS. Seems to be it is going to be a project car. Found this site trying to track down some electrical issues. Got to love a car that performs flawlessly when test driving it, then get it home and issues start!
Ive seen an E36 with original engine with over 600,000 Miles on it. All original. These were well built cars. They will last a long time if properly cared for. I want to get mine to 400,000 at least.

After replacing the alternator and battery, this car is doing well. Took a trip in it over Christmas and put over 1200 miles in 4 days and this car performed well. 32 miles to the gallon made me even happier. Ran into about 6 inches of snow and the car did well, even with all seasonal tires. I can't complain too much about this car.
