Well, where to start? I started out as a BMW owner late in life. I'm now kicking myself for waiting so long. 23 Months ago I purchased my first, a 2007 328ix, low milage, pristine condition and a blast to drive (at least to me). I loved it so much that 4 months later, I purchased a new 2010 128i Convertable for my wife. Her car made me way jealous with its sport package. 5 days ago I took delivery on my upgrade. I traded my loved 3 for a 2009 335i Xdrive Coupe, Tasman Green, sport package, leather etc. I am completely astounded by this car.
First off, why is it every boy racer on the road wants to run me? Seriously, after having to dispatch some yoyo in an EvoX and a bimbo in a, get this, Volvo C60, I'm getting a tad miffed.
I'm a FireFighter, semi retired. I work in Formula 1, ALMS, SCCA and various other series on the fire/rescue teams which means, I get to be up close and personal with some really impressive vehicles and even get to drive some of them, if the teams are friendly.
I'm not planning on any real modifications to my car other than having radar and laser jammers installed, extra aux power outlet for my GPS, maybe the black kidney grills and the K&N air filter. I love it just the way it is. Besides, my wife would murder me.
Anyone who happens to be in NE Ohio and knows of any groups (other than the BMWCCA (what a pretentious, obnoxious group of self-centered jackasses), let me know, maybe we can get together and have some real fun.
