Battery cover

Not sure if I'm in right forum here, but I have a 1994 E36 320I with 2L 6 cylinder motor, I am trying to find a way of removing the battery cover situated in the boot (trunk). It appears to have 3 plastic clips, 2 close to outer skin (on right looking from back of car) and one closest to spare wheel well. How do these clips work, I don't want to do things the wrong way and break something?
