Fng!

Hello All! Love my little 328is, but she's making me a crazy... yep, no start. Have dashlights. Key will spin backwards, yet seems normal forward. At the black wire with yellow stripe (on ignition switch) I get 12 volts when turning the key to "crank" mode, so I believe the switch is still working. Does anyone know if there should be voltage at the antenna ring? Even when turning the key to crank, I get no indication of voltage at the two wires feeding the ring. Could this be an EWS issue? The starter is pretty tough to access, but I think I'll have to dig in and check for signal voltage there. The starter was replaced 3 yrs ago, but I suppose it could have failed again (didn't own the car then). Any input would be greatly appreciated - Jettech.
