ray23 intro.

Hi my name is Ray and I just bought my 1st BMW It is a 2002 330ci convertable. What a fun car to drive! Tight steering and hugs the road, and when you tramp on it it winds thru the gears fast and smoothly and wont stop. I love it! I live in B.C. in the Okanagan Valley(orchard country) and with the cold weather now(-4c) my check engine lite has come on. Anybody know what causes this??

A check engine light is usually related to the emissions system of the vehicle, including engine compression. Could be a huge number of things such as a sensor has failed. Have it scanned for Codes at your local Dealership or mechanic and you can look up the code to see what the problem is. It could be someting as simple as an O2 sensor failed.
