Very good to be here

Hello to all ,Fortunately , I was surfing and found this great website, much like my other vehicles I try to find websites to help with questions and give answers to others like myself, this is my second BMW and I truly believe , that the difference in owning a BMW new or used is a lifestyle on its own. Its great to have other owners to converse with, my first car was fully serviced by the dealer and this time around, the majority of what happens I will do , and so far I have found helpful information,at this site. I'm a fairly savvy mechanic when it comes to muscle cars and drag cars but , BMW's is a new learning experience and I'm sure as others do, hope the car will do the 300k with routine service and babying it along the way, Ive always been amazed that the build quality many times gives the impression that a much older car still looks almost new, ours is that way minus a few interior issues that I have been knocking down one by one, we purchased from a one owner out of Florida and, did very well on price , so now after on a short time my wife has fell in love with this car and , we had new cars several times prior to this, but this is her favorite, Ive done been told I should find another used one for myself to restore, as it is much easier to do than it was 20 years back, so greetings to all other owners and thanks for welcoming me into your community. If by some chance someone has speaker problems in the door I found a way to use the old parts and put replacement speakers back in to the door with what would appear to be 99 percent OEM quality, it looks the same and sounds as good as new without spending little more than 30 bucks and 5 hours of work , but I'm a bit slow.
