over heating on bmw 5 series 97 523i
 

Hi fellow BMW Lovers.

You may have seen my introduction haveing problems with my car over heating. Started a few weeks ago when would go slightly over the normal running temp but would in a few seconds minutes return to normal. But few days ago went into red just as i got home. No visable signs of oil in the water or water in the oil. Heaters Blow cold, and even when really hot still plenty of water in the header tank.

Hope some owners may no whats wrong and how to fix.
