Your Ride: 1998 540i touring
Hi to everyone!

First post from me so here goes! Own a 98 540i touring. When I bought it a few months back I thought I was going to look at a 525i, got there and found out I had been mislead a bit and it was a 540i 4.4l. After being behind the wheel for about 30seconds I bought it anyway, awesome bit of kit! Have a family who can all fit in but can go out and have fun on my own aswell! She is an auto with tiptronic and have looked at changing gearbox to a manual but is way too expensive at the moment. Have any of you done this and is it worth it? Have another problem with her today but will post it in the right section! Forgot to say have owned 84 323i, 84 m3, 86 325is, 90 325is, 90 318i touring, 90 325i touring, 94 m3, 96 m3 covertible and a 98 535i. Cant afford a new one yet but am working on it! Nice to find the site and am looking forward to talking to some of you fellow beemer heads.
