Hi,

My name is Aaron and I recently purchased a 1995 530i. The car is in decent shape and is currently my daily driver. However, there are some things I would like to address as I gain the knowledge and resources to do so. I have a decent mechanical background. My previous daily driver was a 73' VW bus of which I did all my own maintenance and repairs on. My most recent dilemma involves the climate control. As of yet only the drivers side temperature knob has any effect on the heating or cooling of the cabin. Furthermore, the A/C button is non-responsive (no light, nothing engages). The rear defroster button works as well as the recirculation button, which also kicks up the engine idle and turns on the auxiliary fan (as I assume it should). If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. I really like this little car and hope to fix everything the previous owners appear to have neglected.
