Runflats

I'm new to this electronic community but have been driving BMWs since 1967.
I am planning to turn my 2000 540it over to my daughter as a mommy-mobile (first grandchild) and have been test driving a variety of replacements. The 2007-9 X5 4.8i seems to fit my needs but the handling concerns me. Hard to set in a corner and wanders on the straights. Do all runflats handle that way? Thanks for any insights.
