new and purchased a 1997 528i today with problems.
 

I am new to the forum. I bought a 1997 528i today to fix for my 14 year old daughter. It overheats. The previous owner showed me a work order from the local BMW dealer. The waterpump was replaced 6 months ago. The overflow tank was cracked and he replaced it. It still overheated. The thermostat and housing was replaced last weekend. It still overheated. It runs great when started,no smoke, and no water out of the tail pipe. Any suggestions? The car has 156,000 miles on it.Thanks.
