Hello from Edmonton! Had a 1989 325i (lost it last month due to being rear ended, total loss) but I've returned with a 1994 530i 5 speed. No mods yet. Just enjoying the car right now.

Thank God i'm not live in Canada..i Love Indonesia..  )in Indonesia, police would not stop car like mine..that car also daily use..hahaha.. So, how about Canada? stock car only?? regards, Ristaking |

Oh no, nothing that bad. It the looks that get the attention from the police, but mods are fine as long as they are done properly. Last time I checked, for passenger cars the legal maximum for HP is 500, but even the police admit they have no way to enforce this. Basically as long as you don't drive like an ass, you can do whatever you want to the car as long as the parts are legal for road use and have DOT/Transport Canada certification.

I am in stook with the Gestapo here in th Okanagan they sometimes follow mw just for the hell of it. Useless b.......s the force is already suspect after murdering a few innocent people. Im 68 and dont trust them like many of my contemporaries who have fallen foul of their arrogant high handed ways. |
