Hey everybody

Ive been a Bimmer fanatic since I first got my license at 16. I owned a 94 318is for 8 years until I sold it last summer before deploying to Iraq. A little underpowered, but still a blast to drive. The only vehicle I can drive over here is an Army Humvee and it makes me miss my 3 even more than I already do. I joined United Bimmer because Ive been spending a lot of free time over here surfing the internet looking for another 3series to buy for when I return home from this deployment. I get depressed thinking about how I dont even have one sitting in my driveway waiting for me to get back... its pretty sad. I think BMWs are my only vice. I dont smoke, drink, gamble, or anything like that. I get my high from carving corners in a Bavarian masterpiece. I know there must be tons of you out there who can relate to me on that one.

Anyways, Im pleased to be here, and cant wait to share stories and learn as much as I can about the greatest cars on the planet with some of the smartest people on the planet... and maybe even find my next car here.

Cheers.
