Hi everyone, the name is Allan and i just bought a '95 318Ti , just my second day of having it. Let's say, i didn't have a good first experience on driving my bimmer coz it overheated on me. Luckily, i went on the net and made some research, and got rid of the overheating (Hopefully). That's how i ended up being here. Thanks and have a good day guys and gals. Cheers.

Angry e39 520i se auto overheating problem

hi, im new to this this forum and am in desperate need of some help people.

I recently bought a 520i SE AUTO and so far have replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat and hose pipes. I orginally thought that I had a severe air lock but I have bled the system about 4 times now.

The problem is that the pipes get hot and rock solid and have to bleed the system and pour water into the main bleed valve.

No I dont know what the problem and am even considering whether it is a possible head gasket problem, although the car does not over heat on every journey, sometimes it stay normal for a week.

Please help me as this BMW is costing me a complete fortune

Tony

Hello

Packdaddy in tha' house. Just picked up our second Bimmer, a 2010 X6 3.5. Our other ride is a 2006 330CI that my wife won't part with for anything. The X6 won't get a ton of upgrades right away. I'm just going to enjoy the JOY for a while!

Hello fellow Beamers!
My name is Steve and I just upgraded from a 318ti to an E36 M3 4 door Coupe...amazing!
My M3 is 13 years old but has been wrapped in cotton wool for most of its short life, a couple of things though that I was hoping you lovely people might be able to help me with...firstly the boot doesnt lock, the central locking doesnt lock it and even though the key goes in the lock no problem, all the way, but will not turn, ive flodded it with wd40 in a hope that would potentially release it but to no avail...also the dash light directly behind the trip count has gone, are these easy to replace?
Sorry if Ive posted these questions in the wrong place...any help would be much appreciated.
Easy on!

Hello all,
My name is Steve and I am a proud owner of a '00 540i. I brought it back after enjoying it for a few years in Germany and Italy; more Germany! I recently put 18" Alpinas on her from a great deal I found on German Ebay. Anyway hello to all!

Greeting from the Midwest! My name is not up for disclosure as some ppl out there are out for personal info... whatever! I have just broken into the bimmer realm with my lil` brothers first car... a 1992 325i saloon. It's seen very little love over it's 200k mi. lifetime, and shows every bit of it. The seats are hard as rocks, the door panels are warped and peeling, the engine is oozing from places no engine should, and since the serpentine belt shredded itself rather violently - the fan blades are gone, and the radiator looks like it took a round of buckshot at close range... and we wont even talk about the rusting it's doing right now...guh

SO! I've bought a E36 chassis with an M50 powerplant, now what? Where should I start, cause I want a wicked street machine, and it's so far from it. Do I begin tearing it apart to restore it's former glory, or do I start tearing it apart to part it out for the money I've yet to have for making it bad ass?

HELP!
Thanks in advance,
yepitsmeagain
