newb hello
Hi all, my name is David. I've recently become a BMW owner and an addict! My car is a 1982 320i e21. I love this little 100 hp car. One day I hope to have 200 hp! It's just plain fun to drive, so I drive it often!! It needs work, here and there and new paint very bad. I'm turning it into a 320is model, I have all the "is" parts, but not all are installed yet. The original color is POLARIS silver with navy blue interior. Now the interior is black with the recaro front seats. It's a 5 speed with a/c and sunroof. My father in law bought it new and even took it to Germany when he was in the Army. He really loved this car, and now I do too! David

Thanks guys! Can I post pics right off the bat? I'm at another forum where you had to make 20 posts before pics. I've got pics of it, it looks so so right now though. I've still got the 13's on it till I get my 14 x 6 BBs RA's redone. David

nice car you got there... I'd still choose the 323i over the 320i but that's just me... at least you've got the 2 liter 4-cylinder, because the 2 liter 6-cylinder engine was crap...made only about 4 hp more but had the bad mpg of a big sixer...

The a/c works OK. I put Freeze 12 in it last summer. It never was a great system from what I hear. The engine is actually a 1.8L. The 2.0L was used till 80? and then the 1.8 was used. I get good gas mileage and lots of smiles per mile also. I would say in a year, this will be a lot better lookin and even more fun to drive. I'm planning on doing a lot of things to it. David
