Newbie - Can help members with interior problems

Hello my name is John Lopez. I am new to this forum. I would like to offer my help to the members of this forum who are having interior problems. My family has been in the auto upholsteryindustry for over 40 years. If you have any questions I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Thanks

Sweet welcome aboard. What would be the best way to repair a cut in gray leather?? Any way to do it cheaply and still have it look nice?

There really isn't a cheap way of repairing a cut in your leather seat. I will always tell you to take it to a professional trim shop to have it fixed. But if you are a Do-It-Your self kind of a person then I recommend the SEM products. All of the professional vinyl and leather repair guys swear by their products. Here is a link if you would like to check them out http://www.sem.ws/
It does take sometime when using their leather repair. When you get done you will see that it was worth the time and effort. If you need more help just whistle!!

Thanks
John

The bad news is....there is no way to fix a sagging headliner. The headlining material is a foamback material. The foam begins to turn into dust which make the cloth material sag. If anyone tries to repair it, you will end up having a bigger problem. Give me an idea of where you are located and I will see if I know of a good trim shop in your area that can help you at a reasonable price.

Thanks
John

Actually it's not in the seat. It's in the rear right interior panel. The panel just behind the passenger door (I cut it on accident leaving a dolly in there after helping my bro in law move). Thanks for the info though.

yeah, I had a sagging headliner on my touring, too. We had to replace the whole freakin thing

especially difficult was replacing the sunroof head liner b/c we had to build out the whole sun roof... sucked getting it in again.
