Fortunate Son
Hi to all, Just picked up an '02 525i, 5-speed manual, Steel Blue about a month ago. Good gas mileage and GREAT smile mileage! Had the "serviceII", or whatever the proper term is, about 19,000 miles ago. When would be a good time to change the engine, manual tranny, and differential oil next? Any particular types, brands, weights? Looking forward to the expertise this group has to offer! Lawrence |

There are approx. 122000 miles on it now. Original owner drove 190 miles return to work five days a week from late '02 to late '06. So at least these miles are documented hiway miles which makes me feel a little more confident. Lawrence |
